Where can I buy Electric Sun products?

Electric Sun’s lovely wares are sold exclusively here through this BigCartel store. You will not find our stuff in the shops.

How do I pay – and is it secure?

Payment in our BigCartel store is by PayPal only, so you can shop in confidence knowing you are using a secure and well-trusted payment system. Your prices are in British pounds (£).

Do you accept other currencies?

Yes, of course. When you pay by PayPal, it will work out the cost in your currency automatically.

What about local customs duty?

Customs regulations differ from country to country, and occasionally additional charges are enforced. We ship our items with the relevant customs declaration label (CN 22), but Electric Sun will not be liable for any additional duties or taxes, or for the unlikely event of the item being confiscated. If you think this may be an issue in your country, we advise you check the laws for customs and import duty.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. See individual product types for returns information.

How are your T-shirts printed?

All our T-shirts, unless otherwise stated, are screen printed for quality and durability.

Why the small print runs?

Two reasons, really. Firstly, Electric Sun is a small outfit and doesn’t have the capacity to invest in – and carry – a large stock of a particular T-shirt. Each batch of one design funds the next. Secondly, we like to offer something a little more exclusive and individual.

How do I know which size T-shirt will fit me best?

Each T-shirt on our website has a link to a specific sizing chart, based on information given by the T-shirt manufacturer (please note – this is to be used as a guide only). We advise you check this before ordering.

How will you post my T-shirt?

T-shirts sent to mainland UK are dispatched by 1st class recorded delivery (other services are available upon request). All other destinations are sent by Airmail. For UK orders, please make sure there will be someone at your specified delivery address to sign for your item. Each T-shirt is posted in a thin polythene bag inside a paper envelope for protection and minimum environmental impact.

How long will it take to get my T-shirt?

We will be running down to the local post office and have it dispatched within a day or two after receiving payment. The rest is at the mercy of the lovely people who work for the postal services, but our aim is to have the T-shirt on your back as soon as possible. Transit times will vary depending on the destination.

Can I return my T-shirt?

Each T-shirt is quality checked after it has been printed and once again before it is packaged for shipping, so it is unlikely your Tee will have any defects. But if there is a genuine reason for returning your Tee (like wrong size), then we are happy to exchange it – providing we get it back it in perfect, unworn condition. Unless the T-shirt itself is at fault, you will be responsible for the cost of sending it back to us and the full cost of re-shipping it back out to you.

How will you post my giclée print/mounted canvas?

Giclée prints sent to UK addresses are dispatched by 1st class recorded delivery (other services are available upon request) – all other destinations are sent by Airmail. Giclée prints are dispatched in sturdy recyclable cardboard tubes to eliminate damage in transit. Our mounted canvases are dispatched by Royal Mail ParcelForce to UK destinations only. Each framed canvas will be thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and encased in cardboard for safe transit. For all UK orders, please make sure there will be someone at your specified delivery address to sign for your item.

How long will it take to get my Print?

We will receive your order back from our supplier approximately 4-5 days after we receive payment (7-8 days for mounted canvases). We then check your print for quality and then dispatch within two working days. UK deliveries should take a maximum of 2 working days – overseas transit times will vary depending on the destination. If there is any hold-up in the process, we will inform you immediately.

How do I choose a bespoke option for one of your prints?

Any sizes or colours that are other than the ones listed in our BigCartel store can be produced upon request, providing your suggestion is (a) possible and (b) sympathetic to the design. If you’d like to choose this option, please contact us directly with your suggestion we’ll get back to you with a quote.

Can I return my giclée print or mounted canvas?

As these items are made to order and are fully quality checked before dispatch, we do not accept returns on giclée prints or mounted canvases.

Why don’t you ship mounted canvases outside of Mainland UK?

Due to the size of these prints, we don’t want to risk damage on a long journey. We’ve tried it – it just doesn’t work out. Sorry.
